Jr. Inside Sales Representative

MAD is looking for a Jr. Sales Representative to join our Team. Could that be you?


Primary Function:

Provide customer support by assisting with order configuration, project estimation, and providing advice and solutions to issues using general industry knowledge, while developing and maintaining productive relationships with customers.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • College diploma, university degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a customer service role
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
  • Applicable technical aptitude preferred
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, aptitude for understanding processes is an asset
  • Ability to understand technical drawings and requirements an asset
  • Very detailed-oriented
  • Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
  • Ability to resolve discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information
  • Ability to work independently and together as a team
  • Solid communication skills – written and verbal
  • Analytical, problem-solving and math skills
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and meet strict deadlines


Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

  1. Review project specifications to create proposals and quotations for projects.
  2. Provide advice and solutions to customers using company products.
  3. Receive inbound phone calls to provide customer service, information, and quotations.
  4. Enter orders into an ERP system.
  5. Develop strong and productive relationships with customers.
  6. Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
  7. Highly organized with a positive attitude.
  8. Desire and ability to learn.
  9. Strong written and verbal communication skills, tact and judgement.
  10. Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  11. Ensure adherence to 5S and Health and Safety in the workplace
  12. Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%
  13. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area
  14. Other duties as assigned
