Manufacturing Engineer

MAD is looking for a new Manufacturing Engineer to join our growing team.


Primary Function:

As the Manufacturing Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, installing and maintaining effective manufacturing methods that result in high-quality product. In addition, you will be the one to ensure our production lines work efficiently and effectively to meet the company’s goals.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering is preferred
  • 3-5 years’ experience as a Manufacturing Engineer or similar role
  • Experience in manufacturing processes and fabrication methods
  • Experience in CNC machining; CNC Laser cutting is an asset
  • Familiarity with quality assurance techniques
  • Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
  • Well-versed in relevant software
  • Project management skills
  • Ability to occasionally work late shifts


Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

  1. Design, develop, and implement new processes. 
  2. Evaluate and improve manufacturing processes based on quality, efficiency and productivity.
  3. Develop and test effective automated and manual systems.
  4. Organize and manage manufacturing workflows and resources.
  5. Determine labour standards and maintain production capacity model.
  6. Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
  7. Optimize facility layouts, production lines and machine operations.
  8. Ensure that manufacturing procedures follow safety and environmental regulations.
  9. Train staff in new and existing processes.
  10. Become an active participant and contributor to the continuous improvements process.
  11. Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
  12. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.


This is a salary position working offsite, at least 44 hours weekly.



This is a salaried position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location.


MAD offers a competitive base salary, bonus eligibility, group benefits and RRSPs. Salary will commensurate with experience.
