Parts Order Specialist

MAD is looking for a new Parts Order Specialist to join our growing team.

 

Primary Function:

As a Parts Order Specialist, you will be responsible for processing Parts and Sales Order Lines in a timely manner, while communicating effectively with internal team departments to meet customers’ expectations.

 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in stockroom, warehouse
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to prioritize and follow procedures
  • At least 1 year of computer experience and aptitude for ERP/ computer applications
  • Physical requirements: Able to lift and move up to 35lbs, frequent walking and standing for long periods, bending and reaching

 

Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

  1. Process all Parts Orders based on daily schedule within 24 hours. Includes: picking parts, taking inspection photos of the order, and creating packing slips.
  2. Pick and process Sales Orders Line Items, and provide to the Inspection Team.
  3. Provide prompt feedback to internal customers (Project Managers, Operations) of any delays that might impact a job/parts order from shipping out on time.
  4. Re-scheduling orders in case of any unexpected delays due to external issues.
  5. Communicate information to the Supply Chain Team related to problems on orders, such as, damaged parts, incomplete parts or incorrect parts.
  6. Request an expedite on parts when required, by looking into HPlan if short.
  7. Make sure parts orders and orders for operations are processed accurately, preventing any inventory discrepancies.
  8. Constant follow-up with purchasing/operations to make sure deliverables are met.
  9. Handle inquiries from PMs, Sales and Production regarding all issues related to Parts order/sales orders.
  10. Make sure to keep stockroom organized and tidy at all times.
  11. Take part in scheduled Inventory counts with rest of the team.
  12. Other duties as required.
  13. Able to lift up to 35lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
  14. Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.

 

This is a day shift position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location, at least 44 hours weekly.

Hours are typically Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm, Fridays 7:00am to 3:30pm
