Production Kitter

MAD is looking for a new Production Kitter to join our growing team.


Primary Function:

Responsible for ensuring that assemblers have the supplies (including but not limited to material, tools, instructions) they need on a consistent basis to stay focused on manufacturing elevator fixtures, including fixture components.


Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 1 – 2 years of experience in material handling
  • At least 2 year of Manufacturing experience preferred
  • Self-started/ self-directed working aptitude
  • Demonstrated dexterity and ability to perform simple to complex assemblies in a fast-paced environment
  • A “do whatever it takes” attitude
  • Ability to lift loads up to 50lbs (assisted as needed)
  • Physical ability to move skids, boxes and other materials
  • Preferred current and valid forklift operation certificate or willingness to be trained to operate forklift or crane
  • Medium to highly detail-oriented.


        Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies

  • Anticipate and deliver Car Operating Panels (COPs) corresponding to orders to assembly areas as required
  • Efficiently move completed kits from engraving to assembly areas as needed while minimizing rework
  • Identify non-conformances
  • Complete shop records accurately
  • Recommend changes to the routing and kitting practices for efficiency purposes
  • Work closely with team leader, team members, Production Control, and Continuous Improvement
  • Handle medium-to-heavy materials intermittently
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Able to lift up to 50lbs, may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area



This is a day shift position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location, at least 44 hours weekly.

Hours are typically Monday - Thursday 7:00am to 4:30pm, Fridays 7:00am to 3:30pm
