Project Coordinator

MAD is looking for a Project Coordinator to join our growing team.

Primary Function:

As our new Project Coordinator, you will play a key support role to our project managers, customers, production and our technical team. You will work directly with customers to support their quote and design requests, ordering process for small fixture orders and samples, and stay with them through production, including: engineering, development, and final delivery. You will assist project managers with processing, coordinating design, scheduling, manufacturing and delivery of fixture additions on existing jobs. You will also act a key liaison between our project management and manufacturing teams to make sure expedited orders meet customer required delivery.

The ideal candidate will have proven customer service skills, ability to work in a high-volume environment, strong attention to detail while improving production rate.

Responsibilities

Strategic Initiatives (related to our supply base or business processes around them) not limited to:

  • A degree or diploma in engineering or business
  • Experience in Manufacturing an asset
  • Proactive and willing to initiate action, solution oriented
  • Technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to focus and concentrate in engaging environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and effective at working with minimal supervision
  • Some experience in a manufacturing environment an asset.
  • Proven record of outstanding customer service and support in a custom, repeat business environment.
  • Highly detail-oriented.

Qualifications:

  • Support customer quote requests for smaller fixture orders and samples.
  • Assist customers through the planning, design, and ordering process.
  • Assist project managers with processing, coordinating design, scheduling, manufacturing and delivery of fixture additions on existing jobs
  • Key liaison between our project management and manufacturing teams to make sure expedited orders meet customer required delivery.
  • Understand detailed mechanical drawings.
  • Other duties as required
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety

This is a salaried position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location, at least 42.5 hours weekly. Hours are typically 8:30am to 5:00pm with flexibility.
