Quality & Systems Coordinator/ISO Lead Auditor

MAD is looking for a Quality & Systems Coordinator/ISO Lead Auditor to join our growing team.

 

Primary Function:

Responsible for the generation of quality reports, ISO certification maintenance, customer audits and customer complaint responses. Working with the Continuous Improvement Team to help facilitate quality initiatives, problem solving, data interpretation, and production team interaction with administrative support on a day-to-day basis.

 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Post-Secondary Degree or Diploma or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of Quality Management System document control
  • Knowledge of organization, operating procedures, work instructions and policies
  • Experience in quality assurance and quality systems (ISO9001) auditing
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance function, preferably within the manufacturing industry
  • Experience in ISO14001 auditing an asset
  • Familiarity with Environmental, Health and Safety Management Systems
  • Familiarity with 5S Auditing
  • Mechanical knowledge is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and Microsoft Suite proficiency
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Time management and ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coordinate and schedule internal audits (ISO9001), customer audits, 5S, H&S and others
  • Performs internal audits to ensure compliance
  • Assists Management Rep with 3rd party audits with the Registrar
  • Maintains and controls ISO 9001 documentation including developing and updating of procedures, policies and templates to ensure document control and compliance.
  • Prepares reports/logs by collecting and analyzing information/data for management information reports on a daily/weekly/monthly basis using various in-house systems.
  • Assist to control customer specific related documents.
  • Completes projects and special assignments by establishing objectives; determining priorities; managing time; gaining cooperation of others; monitoring progress; problem-solving; and making adjustments to plans.
  • Assists production with training database as required.
  • Maintains various databases, as required.
  • Ensures compliances to OSHA and WSIB
  • Works safely, reporting hazards and unsafe conditions, and takes all reasonable measures to protect themselves, co-workers and direct reports.
  • Recognizing and understanding the requirements of our internal and external customers and is dedicated to establishing the highest standards as per MAD Values.
  • Other duties as required
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area

This is a salary position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location. Hours are typically Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.
