Sales Representative, Outside

MAD is looking for a Sales Representative, Outside to join our Team. Could that be you?

 

Primary Function:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will become the face of MAD throughout the Ontario Market. You will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining existing client relationships, while developing strong relationships with new clients.

 

The ideal candidate should be a customer-centric, detail-oriented professional who enjoys developing and maintaining relationships, and wants to be part of a successful team. Someone who is self-motivating with a positive “can-do” attitude, works well under pressure, and has the desire and willingness to learn.

 

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • College diploma, university degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) using tact and judgment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • At least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably outside sales
  • Applicable technical aptitude preferred
  • Industry Experience definite asset
  • Experience in Manufacturing an asset
  • Exceptional planning, time-management, organizational and follow-through skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision
  • A valid Driver’s License, with ability to travel as required

 

Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies:

  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers.
  • Demonstrate exceptional customer service and follow-up skills.
  • Actively schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients or customers.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Educate, recommend and sell the company’s products to customers within territory.
  • Provide the best solution for customers’ requirements using creative, out of the box thinking.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 5%.
  • Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
