Supply Chain Manager

MAD is looking for a Supply Chain Manager to join us. Could that be you?

Primary Function:

The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible and accountable for the identification, definition and implementation of strategic initiatives:

  1. Support business goals, operations or other requirements
  2. Create a new paradigm in supply chain management, striving for people, processes and supplier that will not only be best in class for our group, our industry and our size, but will far exceed them.
  3. Make our supply chain and related processes a competitive advantage

They combine great soft skills (listening, negotiating, solving problems), great technical aptitude, and a people manager. They are business focused, strategic and strive for continued excellence.

Qualifications and Educational Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or equivalent experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in leadership roles with proven ability to deliver results
  • Experience in Manufacturing Environment required
  • Experience in Procurement
  • Experience in Sourcing and Supplier Management
  • Experience in Inventory Control (Safety Stock, MOQ, Cycle Counts, Inventory Levels, Inventory turns)
  • Demonstrated ERP experience
  • Hands-on but Strategic – gets the job done and considers long term impact
  • Technical aptitude and understanding of manufacturing life cycle
  • Able to identify and implement improvement opportunities continuously

  • Develop productive relationships with suppliers, leverage and create mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Identify and implement improvement to business processes related to purchasing, supply chain & logistics to improve efficiency, accuracy and quality
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement related to inventory and stocking processes
  • Implement and maintain Supplier Management Practices (quality, process, price quote and selection)
  • Lead outsourcing activities and supplier transitions
  • Be an active member of the leadership team defining direction and strategies
